Diabetes Learning Center
About the Center
The Diabetes Learning Center of Mon General Hospital has been Recognized by the American Diabetes Association for Quality Self-Management Education*. Our goal is to educate persons with diabetes and pre-diabetes about self-care and decision making to assist them in living well with diabetes. Whether patients are newly diagnosed or have had diabetes for a number of years, diabetes self-management education can help persons with diabetes improve or maintain their health. Persons wishing to attend the diabetes education courses must be referred by a healthcare provider. Insurance coverage for this service is verified by the department secretary.
