The Foundation of Mon General Hospital

The Foundation of Mon General Hospital is a non-profit organization that exists solely to raise funds and other forms of support for Mon General Hospital and Mon Health System. Gifts to The Foundation help ensure that our community hospital continues to provide state-of-the-art care to the residents it serves throughout our region.
The Foundation has helped fund numerous projects at Mon General. Recently it helped finance an angioplasty unit at Mon General, purchased Stabilet incubators for the hospital's Family Birth Center and financed the construction of the Hazel Ruby McQuain Conference Center. The Foundation's "Campaign for a Healthy Future" funded renovations throughout Mon General, from lobby renovations to the upgrade of the heating and ventilation system. It was also instrumental in the development of The Village at Heritage Point, a retirement community sponsored by Mon Health System. Currently, The Foundation is in the final stages of a successful $12 million capital campaignto create the Hazel Ruby McQuain Tower and provide Mon General with 189 all-private patient rooms.
Today, as health care costs rise and insurance reimbursements decline, your help is needed more than ever to assure that Mon General is able to provide up-to-date facilities for its patients.
