Even with the incredible changes and improvements at Mon General Hospital over the last seven years, the next chapter must now be undertaken: a renovation and expansion of surgical procedural services. These areas include a new Orthopedic Center, renovation of the Cardiac Catheterization Labs, upgrading and expanding The Hazel Ruby McQuain Birth Center, and the creation of our new Endoscopy Center. 

The question often asked is “What, again?”.   Mon General Hospital could probably be an average community hospital without financial support from the community.  Yet the community requires us, and we require of ourselves, to be more than just average.  We want to be exceptional – exceptional in quality, services, and commitment.  That requires continual commitment from the community, including ongoing philanthropic health initiatives and building improvements.

For this new capital campaign we are targeting $6 million dollars in donations.When combined with the $19 million of internal funds, this will provide $25 million in improvements for our surgical services.  100% of the donations will be used for these projects.
