Job Summary
Under general direction, performs various duties involved in the preparation, service, and clean up of meals. This is inclusive of, but not limited to, simple food preparation, tray assembly, cafeteria service, cashiering, dishwashing and general sanitation responsibilities. Performs within the philosophy, objectives, policies and procedures of the department and hospital.

Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement : High school graduate or GED preferred.

b. Minimum Experience Requirement : Experience in similar environment preferred. Must be able to push patient meal carts when loaded.

c. Minimum License Requirement : Food Handlers Card issued by Monongalia County within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions

Medium Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs.
