Housekeeping Asst - Environmental Svcs Job DescriptionJob Summary
Under general direction, is responsible for cleaning and servicing all areas of Monongalia General Hospital and affiliates, as assigned, in order to provide a safe, aseptic and attractive environment for patients, employees, and visitors. Performs all duties within established hospital and department policies and procedures.Job Requirements
a. Minimum Education Requirement : Ability to read and understand direct oral and/or written instruction and receive and transmit simple information. High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement : Ability to understand hospital and department policies and procedures and operate departmental equipment/beeper obtained through on-the-job training. Basic knowledge of use of personal computer, normally acquired through on-the-job training or previous experience. Effective interpersonal communication skills in order to maintain cooperative work relationships.
c. Minimum License Requirement :
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Heavy Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 50 lbs with a maximum lifting of 100 lbs.
