Job SummaryA preschool asst teacher assists with the development and implementation of a learning curriculum in accordance with Child Care Center philosophies and policies, incorporating various teaching styles and methods to ensure physical, emotional, social and mental development of each individual child.Job Requirements a. Minimum Education Requirement : Must possess basic reading and writing skills and ability to understand written instruction and receive and transmit information; skills normally acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or equivalency (GED). Post high school education in Early Childhood preferred.
b. Minimum Experience Requirement : Preferred experience with preschool children and activity planning; experience normally acquired through previous work in a Day Care setting. Good interpersonal skills in order to interact with parents and children and to maintain cooperative working relationships.
c. Minimum License Requirement :
Physical Requirements and Environmental Conditions
Medium Work: Frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs with a maximum lifting of 50 lbs.
